Feltornitologene is a Norwegian wildlife blog. We write about the animals that live in Norway — from coastal seals and seabirds to forest mammals, mountain species, and the Arctic wildlife of the far north.
Our focus is simple: Norway’s wildlife and animals. Species profiles, behaviour, habitats, seasons, and how to observe animals respectfully in the wild. We do not cover hiking trails, travel itineraries, or outdoor fashion — only wildlife.
Whether you are new to Norwegian nature or already spend time watching birds and mammals outdoors, these articles are meant to be clear, accurate, and readable. We explain what animals you may encounter, where they belong in Norway’s ecosystems, and what is changing around them.
